Aisling is pursuing an MA in International Relations at the School of Politics and International Relations in UCD, having completed her undergraduate degree earlier in 2019 in French and Italian in Trinity College Dublin.
Nicky holds a degree in Law with Politics from Lancaster University with a focus on European Studies, and is currently a student of European Law and Public Affairs LLM. Her research interests lie in the intersection between law and politics, in particular the causes of Euroscepticism and populism.
Jake is currently studying for a double Masters in European Governance in University College Dublin and Utrecht University. He holds a degree in History and French from Trinity College Dublin. He has previously worked at the Embassy of Ireland, Paris and has pursued his interest in European affairs through volunteering with European Movement Ireland and the Society for International Affairs, TCD.
Stefano is an Italian student currently attending the MSc in European Governance at UCD. He obtained his BA in Social Science at the University College of Utrecht, majoring in Law and Political Science. He completed his Bachelor's thesis on the topic of Temporary Protection in the context of EU legislation relating to asylum. His main academic interests revolve around International Law and Politics, with particular attention to the EU and the topics of migration, human rights, and development.
Paula is an Ecuadorian student pursuing a M.Sc. in International Development at UCD. She obtained a degree in Languages (English, Spanish and French) in Business and International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, worked in the Consular and Financial Section at the Embassy of Canada in Ecuador, and performed internships at the Canadian-Ecuadorian and Mexican-Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce in Quito. Her main academic interests are orientated to international political economy, regional integration and Global South development.
Rose is undertaking an MA in International Development at UCD, having completed her BA in Intercultural Studies and Languages from Mahidol University’s International College in 2019. Her interests lie in international political economy and international cooperation for sustainable development. She has previously served as an volunteer for SCOOP Foundation and as a JETRO intern hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.
